I’m not feeling well today, but I don’t want to forego my commitment to writing at least a little something every day. Since you are safe from contamination, maybe it's okay to share a little bit about this virus-of-opposites. One minute I'm sweating, the next I'm freezing. My head is full, as if preparing for a cold, while my empty stomach is giving the bum’s rush to anything I put in it. That's probably already more information than you needed...
Tomorrow, my husband and I begin couples counseling. It's been a long an arduous journey just getting him to agree to go. Now I'm concerned that this bug will make it impossible to get to the appointment.
Despite the discomfort, anxiety and inconvenience in this day, I am surprisingly optimistic. While I'm focusing on a positive outcome - that I will wake up feeling like myself tomorrow - I'm keeping the following quote in mind:
Happiness is not in our circumstances, but in ourselves. It is not something we see, like a rainbow, or feel, like the heat of a fire. Happiness is something we are.

Hope'n what ever is bug'n gets a move on so you can feel better. I like the quote about happiness. Thanks for sharing it.
I, too, hope you recover quickly and that you will be ble to attend your first counselling session tomorrow. Hold on to that optimism.
Hope that you get better soon and that you managed to get to the counselling session and that it went well.
Getting a spouse to be part of couples counselling is a big thing I think.
HI SHEN - i guess it is true, the battle is half won by just showing up!!
