As my life becomes more my own, I find myself creating much more hopeful images. Here are a few I created during the Summer of 2008.
The comments below are about both the images here, and the text I've deleted (2-21-12) as I continue to write my memoir.
"So many choices, so many things I never thought about before. I feel like the rest of the world had a 50 year head start and I am still standing at the starting line."
ReplyDeleteI cannot count the times I've felt that way.
I just discovered your blog through another blogger I follow. I found it interesting and I will soon be following the updates.
ReplyDeleteI love color and texture, so I also like the graphics. I guess you could consider me somewhat of a graphaholic.
Have a great day / Barbara
Thank you, Tricia, for "getting it". It feels good to be heard and understood.
ReplyDeleteBarbara, welcome. I'm glad you found me :-) I love graphics as well. I have done hundreds of these photoshop drawings. In most, I work from hand drawn images, and then scan them and rework them. I also paint and draw, but the thing that's wonderful about this medium is that I can have a complete picture in my head and really get it on paper exactly the way I see it in my head.
Hi Shen - I got your message over on my blog, and would be happy to add you to the list of readers when it goes private. Just drop me an email at thesameskymail at googlemail dot com and I'll add you to the list.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are doing some brilliant inner child work - keep it up! :)
Shen, I am so taken-back with the power of your visual drawings that say so very much! I am right there with you, that time has stopped and everyone is way ahead of the game.
ReplyDeleteThank you dear one for sharing!
Thank you, thesamesky. I look forwrd to reading future posts.
ReplyDeleteJustBeReal, I'm glad you "get it". It seems the more people I share my journey with, the more common my story seems.
